The Supporting Living Program Manager supports the Mission Vista mission by providing direct supervision, coordination, and support for all Supporting Living Program staff and clients while maintaining compliance of federal, state, and local regulations.

Job Level:
Program management with supervisory responsibilities. Reports to the Supporting Living Program Director.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Schedule all shift coverage for staff at the assigned program and arrange for relief coverage when needed including approving/correcting staff timesheets as needed.
• Planning and facilitating client service plan meetings. Develop and implement client care plans in accordance with clients’ Person-Centered Service Plans (PCSPs) and in compliance with Department of Disability Association (DDA) policies including Individual Instruction Supported Plans (IISPs), Functional Assessment/Positive Behavior Support Plans (FA/PBSPs) and Individual Financial Plans (IFPs).
• Ensure that staff follow client care plans and attend and report accurate support information at annual client assessments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records for each individual client assigned to the program including but not limited to completion of yearly forms, ensuring all care plans are implemented and follow Mission Vista’s and DDA’s Washington Administrative Code (WACS) and Policies.
• Ensure that all staff training and onboarding of new staff is completed thoroughly, and training deadlines are met, including but not limited to 40-hour training completion, annual continuing education (CEs), new hire coaching, Paychex training, and monthly safety training.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings. Communicate regularly with staff regarding anything related to client care and program operations.
• Oversee all client financial records to ensure accuracy, and that records are current are verified, in accordance with Mission Vista Policy and DDA’s financial WACS and Policies.
• Handle any employee concerns by taking the appropriate action per policy.
• Maintain client medication inventory as required by Mission Vista and DDA policy.
• Ensure staff are assisting with activities of daily living that follow DDA and Mission Vista’s vision and guiding values that include Inclusion, Status and Contributions, Relationships, Power and Choice, Health and Safety, and Competence.
• Maintain communication with DDA case managers and client guardians/family as appropriate. • Follow all mandated reporting responsibilities.

Required Technical Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to use computers and related technology effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite software.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Experience, Education, Licenses and Certifications:
• 3-5 years’ experience in the capacity of overseeing and supervising employees strongly preferred. • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Care giving or related experience preferred.
• First Aid, CPR & Blood Borne Pathogens certification within 90 days of employment (training provided) required.
• Valid WA state driver’s license and proof of insurance required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
This job requires the physical ability to lift up to 50lbs., and physical stamina for tasks like lifting and transferring clients. Also to assist clients with mobility, requiring strength and endurance with or without accommodation. Including emotional resilience for empathy and patience. Remaining in a stationary position at least 50% of the time, occasionally move about inside the work environment, operate office productivity machinery (such as a computer), occasionally ascend/descend stairs, and constantly communicate and exchange accurate information is required with or without accommodation. Visual, verbal and audio acuity are required with or without accommodation.
