Executive Director

Mission Vista 
Wenatchee Washington, United States (On-site)

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to lead our organization's mission and drive its growth. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, a compassionate leader, and a skilled manager who can guide our team in delivering exceptional programs and services to our over 90 clients in our three program areas including residential living, supported living and vocational services. The Executive Director will report to the Board of Directors and work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners to ensure the organization's sustainability and continued impact.

 

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the organization's mission, vision, and values, while adapting to the evolving needs of the developmentally disabled adult community.

• Board of Directors: Develop, maintain, and support a strong Board of Directors; seek and build board involvement with strategic direction.

• Fundraising and Resource Development: Lead fundraising efforts, identify funding opportunities, and cultivate relationships with donors, grant-making organizations, and corporate partners to secure financial support for the organization's operations and initiatives.

• Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, partners, and advocates to enhance collaboration and raise awareness of the organization's work.

• Financial Management: Ensure responsible fiscal management and monitor financial performance to ensure the organization's financial health and sustainability.

• Team Leadership: Provide mentorship, supervision, and guidance to staff members, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and team cohesion.

• Advocacy and Public Relations: Serve as the public face of the organization, advocating for the rights and well-being of developmentally disabled adults and raising awareness about the challenges they face.

 

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (master’s degree preferred).

• Proven track record of leadership, at least five years of experience in related field preferably a nonprofit organization in the field of developmental disabilities.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

• Financial acumen and experience in budget management.

• Visionary thinking with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.

• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

• Passion for the organization's mission and a strong desire to make a positive impact

 

Compensation starting range will be 125k to 170k based on experience, plus benefits and negotiated moving costs. Mission Vista offers competitive benefits ie; Medical, Dental and Vision, 401K, Vacation etc.
